At university or college, support for LBGTQ+ higher education students is taken very seriously and there will be a wide range of support on offer to you. This can range from supportive personal tutors and LGBTQ+ student support officers in your Students’ Union to LGBTQ+ support groups and LGBTQ+ society groups. There will also be a wide range of professional services both within the university or college and in the local community. All university and college websites should have a dedicated LGBTQ+ page outlining the services and support they have on offer. They should also have links to signpost you to external support in their location. When completing your UCAS forms, it is advisable to research what services are available at your chosen university or college to see if they meet your needs.
